I thought you were a soldier? You're a shrink, too?
[He shakes his head, flashes of how Zack had looked, pressing in closer trying to rip his throat out.] No. Please don't. [His voice is quick and quiet, pulling his hand away to tuck his knees up against his chest and wrap his arms around them.]
I'm fine. I think I might get up for a bit. [If he was in his own place or even his Dominant's, he'd grab a drink right about now. Drinking was one of the only things he found that really helped him stop thinking. He's guessing Zack doesn't have anything.]
